ART &
KARU
Ā

My practice weaves painting and accompaniment into an ethical continuum, where the creative gesture unfolds as an expression of bodhicitta — an aspiration toward compassion and responsibility toward all living beings.

Alongside my commitment as an artist, I open the studio as a space for creation, guidance, and contemplative practice.

► ART THERAPY

Each week, I welcome a limited number of people for individual art therapy sessions, in Saint-Malo or online.

Art activates the creative process as a mode of exploration. When words falter, images and symbols operate as a primary symbolic language, opening a space for attentive care and transformation. Creating allows imagination and inner experience to be explored in a sensitive and spontaneous way.

In this context, art therapy offers a framework for expression and resilience through drawing, painting, modeling, and writing.

My practice is grounded in clinical and field experience (see CURRICULUM and ELOVUTION), as well as in two foundations: Art and Meditation.

It draws on symbolic, humanistic, and transpersonal currents in art therapy, and opens onto symbolic frameworks from contemplative traditions. It is nourished by an ongoing engagement with visual arts and attentional disciplines.

When relevant, other modalities of dialogue with the unconscious may be integrated (dream work, flower essences, projective tools).

Art therapy uses the creative process as a privileged pathway to psychic life.

In the symbolic approach, the art therapist attends to images and metaphors of the unconscious that emerge in creation — a language that allows what cannot otherwise be formulated to be expressed.

Drawing, writing, or modeling can support the understanding of what hinders vital drive, and foster processes of integration and transformation.
